Cortaderia selloana (Pampas Grass)
Densely tufted, clump forming perennial grass with an arching growth habit. Mid-green leaves, to 8 feet or more long. Stalks of white, feathery plumes rise above the foliage in summer. Medium growth rate / Mine are in partial sun/shade - doing great.

CULTIVATION: Grow in fertile, well drained soil in full sun, with ample space to develop. Protect crowns of young plants durng winter. Cut and comb ou the previous years stems and dead foliage annually, in later winter or early spring, taking care to avoid the sharp leaf margins, which can inflict severe cuts.
PROPAGATION: Sow seeds at 55-64F in spring. Divide in spring.
PESTS AND DISEASES: Helminthosporium leaf spots are common.
